Zika is linked to Guillaian Barre, which can follow the mild virus part of Zika. Additionally, there have been some studies that suggest a possible long term link that could affect young girls and their fertility. There just haven't been enough studies done on long-term affects. Yes, I realize there are many people alive and well in countries with Zika outbreaks but it doesn't mean you need to join them before thinking it through carefully - for a vacation.

That's said remember that there are millions of children living and going to school in Puerto Rico that are alive and healthy despite the Zika virus. Dont be so prejudiced. Just take precautions...again if you are pregnant or want to get pregnant absolutely do not visit anywhere with Zika. On the contrary, then just go.
