No. As observers I guess? I just found out my ex-husband put both his parents on all our of DC's school communication. This means homework announcements, teacher events, etc. I find it odd, but not worth asking him about. I was curious if others did this or not.

I'm not the OP, but maybe OP's mom did this in order to know about volunteering opportunities at the grandkids' school. It's fine if the parents are fine with it. I know one aunt who volunteered in our kids' MS and one grandfather who volunteered in ES (from different families). No big deal, and nice to see some family members other than parents being willing to help out at times.
