+1. I don't think a three month old has the skills to get the thing completely in her mouth, so I wouldn't worry about choking. Also, if she's doing this stuff now, I'm sure she'll be feeding her five or six month old cheetos and pepsi, so I'd save my concern (and nagging) for then, when it really matters. Pick your battles, you know?

That is some crappy stuff to give to a baby and it's certainly not advised by anyone I know. However, people have been feeding their very young babies all sorts of weird things since the dawn of time. You talk to people from other cultures and you'd be surprised at what they will put in a 3-month-old's mouth. So while I agree with you that it's unhealthy for the baby, I don't think it's child endangerment. Yes, the baby can choke but she probably won't. She's just licking those items, not trying to swallow them whole.

It's my sister in law on my husbands side. His brother is one of those adults that has a learning disability that never was diagnosed as a child.

Your SIL is a moron. Whether or not she's posing a baby with this food or actually feeding her the food, it's stupid and unsafe.

Op again-the baby is very awakardly holding the stick to the lollipop with both hands(I assume it was placed in her hands like that) and her mouth is on top of the lollipop.

Op here-I assume she's just sucking on them. She takes pictures of her with these things and posts them to fb all the time. I private messaged her and very nicely explained how dangerous giving baby these sweets before her gut is ready can be and she told me "mamas always know best." Then today she posted the picture with the lollipop and I just couldn't help but be afraid that the baby would choke on it.
