Subject: Sick of selfish and lazy spouse...
First, you need to stick to a pronoun.
Second, you don't lift a finger for him (let's think it's a him, OK?). Stop right now. No lunches, no laundry, no whatever it is you do. Leave his dirty dishes in the sink, his stuff lying around. If he's not there as he said he would be, just go about your business without him.
Third, make it acidly clear using your choicest words (good vocabulary is more hurtful than swear words) that you are not his slave and he can look after himself. You are willing to help him out if he's willing to help you out, and not act like God Almighty.

He/she forgets something, and expects me to remember. He/she chooses to change his/her schedule, and then expects me to change too to accommodate him/her. He/she expects me to clean up after him/her, and even asks me why I don't sometimes. Please tell me about your selfish/lazy spouse and how you finally made them do their fair share!
