I'm going to Miami on business in February, and I'll report back. I was in Miami last October, and I wasn't bitten. I was mostly downtown and by the water (not out in the burbs where I believe the mosquitoes are).
I'm currently pregnant and DH went to Miami 2 weeks ago for 2 days. He didn't go to the pool or beach, just his conference and restaurants. No bug bites. he came home and got 4 mosquito bites in VA at a park.

Yes, and also not swimmable then. It's basically parallel to the Outer Banks.

They probably spray the heck out of those resorts. Also anywhere on the water with a good constant breeze will have less mosquitos. You could always look into Bermuda, not sure about the Zika situation there.

Would like to go away mid-April to somewhere warm and doesn't have Zika. Want a location with good kids club. Would like to do Atlantis but Bahamas has Zika.
