Dh did it sometimes, like if it were a special event or he was buying something too (or he really liked the outfit!). He found out early on that our relationship would be short lived if he always wanted to pay for things I could pay for on my own.

He did when we were still dating, but stopped after the realization that our tastes were definitely not the same.

I did and do still get his input on shoes. He has a remarkable eye for super stylish shoes I'd never pick on my own.

Yes Dh does and did also when we were dating. Dresses, tops, shoes, purses. He has good taste so it's great.

No. He bought me Jimmy Choos once for a Christmas gift, but that was it. I'm totally ok with it.

No. When DH and I were dating he purchased clothes as a gift but never a Pretty Woman scenario where he either takes me shopping and pays for everything or stops me from paying for clothes I planned on buying for myself. In general though he hates going clothes shopping with me because I take a long time to decide.

When the hospital lost my clothes he bought me under garments and several items of clothing.

When I was younger, I had a few boyfriends who were older buy me clothes and jewelry especially if we were going out with clients for his work. I couldn't afford those things on my own and he worked in an industry where fashion and cloths mattered.

Not just a regular day at the mall. For Christmas or my birthday he's bought me clothes, or if he sees something unique with one of my sports teams when he's out and about.

My now DH did when we were dating. We were in our 30s, and they weren't expensive. I think we were at Macys or Nordstroms or something. I bought some special occasion dresses, and he wanted to pay for them. It was very sweet. The salesgirl was jealous
