I know they didn't do it on purpose... They were supposed to have checked all that when they came. That is what confuses me.

I just got my A/C systems checked out this past Wednesday as an annual service. The guy changed the filters (which we generally do ourselves) but also checked lines etc.

Yesterday, our entire upstairs system fails because water filled the pan and triggered the automatic shut off.

Guy came back today and says it was a complete coincidence and that the pan just got full yesterday.

It feels like BS, because yesterday wasn't even that hot. But I don't know enough about this to be sure. Anyone?
