Ryan Murphy has been promising a "big twist" in episode 6, so that's what we're getting next week. Each episodes theme has been based on a previous season (episode 1 was about a "murder house," episode five featured secret tunnels built by a crazy person who killed other people, etc.). So since this is season six, we have no idea what to expect from episode six.

From the preview, I imagine the "documentary makers" are going to turn the cameras on themselves.

I love it! I hated the hotel one with Lady Gaga.

I loved Murder House but couldn't make it past a couple of episodes of any of the other seasons.

Watched Roanoke and thought it was very much like Murder House- more realistic without all of the over the top nonsense from other seasons. Fingers crossed that the rest of the season will be good!

I love all the main actors this year. Tera's mom! YAY!

But I wasn't feeling the first episode at all.

Murder House was the best because it had Dylan McDermott with no shirt! Like ever season should have that!!

I did not watch freak show or hotel, but decided to give this season a try and liked the first episode. I did enjoy murder house, coven and asylum (in that order of preference).

I love discussions about which season is best. I absolutely loved Asylum the best of all of the seasons (it contained all I love about the show and had the best "classic horror" elements), but I have noticed on dcum it is usually not a popular first choice. I rank as follows, best to worst: Asylum, Murder House, Coven, Freak Show, Hotel (I could barely finish that one). I will be watching this season, and found episode 1 promising.

I loved Coven! Some of the one liners were fabulous (like the one about Halston). I hated Hotel and Freak Show.

While I haven't been a fan of every season, I love that it is an anthology show! I also love, love, love the variety and quality (excluding Lady Gaga) of actors on the show. Just finished the first episode and it looks promising!!
