They are not "required" to replace girl with girl. They look for the best fit.

I think statistically more girls leave, but I have known at least 2 boys who left from W cluster.
Are you sure about this? I don't think they can consider gender when making offers. The only thing they can do is try to up applications from girls. But in practice it's true, the numbers aren't that dramatic.
I don't believe the numbers are worse at Blair, either, as was speculated.
