My DD spent a lot of time during indoor recess finger knitting. So, I bought a lot of yarn for the kids to knit with.

^^^that sounds insane! They don't combine classes for indoor recess at our fcps.

Not sure if you're in public school, but at least in MCPS, when there's inclement weather, they combine two classes in one classroom b/c they don't have the "staffing" or whatever. So that could be anywhere from 50-60 kids for "recess" in one classroom at least in lower MoCo. There's barely room for twister when there's just one class in a classroom.

Twister is not a good idea for second grade boys who already have trouble keeping their bodies to themselves. The teacher will not appreciate that.
