It sounds as if you are already at Payne - not clear if it is your first year though? If this is not your first year, you obviously had some motivation to apply to Peabody OOB or to return to it as an IB family. What were those reasons? In any case, I'm a Cluster parent and I recommend P/W over Payne heartily.

You should absolutely choose Peabody/Watkins over Payne. Did you get in for K or PK4?

Peabody is great. Watkins is solidly better than Payne. The Payne --> Peabody move is a no brainer to me.

Are you IB for Payne? Because, if so, it's even more of a no brainer. If you don't like Watkins (you'll like Peabody) or Payne improves, you can always move back.

Just to clarify for OP or someone else new to the board - Peabody is not an elementary school; it is the the early childhood campus housing PS3-K grades. 1st through 5th are at Watkins.

Go, go go! Peabody is great and Watkins is better than Payne. No contest at all.

It is A LOT better than Payne (and well regarded on its own)! Why would you even question a move?

Hi my child has been selected to attend Peabody elementary, She attends Payne right now. If any parents on here are a part of the cluster schools such as Peabody and Watkins can you please give me feedback so I can make sure whatever my decision is its a good one for her. Thanks.
