Your child might like them much better if medium or soft yolks rather than hard.

Just let it go and toss them. Eggs are cheap unless you've been fooled into buying those ridiculously expensive eggs at Whole Foods. If that's the case, buy cheaper eggs and toss the hard boiled yolks.

Scramble eggs in the shell instructions are on youtube and just google and at Womans Day. Also make hard yolks an add in to ham salad, potato salad, macaroni salad - - yes, even the store bought kind! Improves it immensely

OP here - awesome ideas! We don't have a dog, though. I love the idea of deviled egg filling in cucumber cups. PP - how do you scramble in the shell? Just shake it around really hard? Sounds intriguing.

Mix the yolks into tuna salad. Or turn it into deviled egg filling, but fill cucumber cups instead of egg whites. How about whipping it into hummus and using as a dip?

I just Eat them, my cholesterol is good. I max at 4 yolks then throw them out.
Have you tried poaching the whites?

Deviled egg filing?
My kid also only eats the whites but loved deviled eggs. I serve the filling on crackers.

Learn to scramble in the shell, then hard boil.
Other possibility is to make lemon curd or lime curd. Yumm...

Same problem in our house. I finally got to the point where I let it go. Eggs are one of the cheaper snacks that my son eats. Only time I ever use the yolks is when I make deviled eggs.

My kids loves hoard boiled eggs, but only the white. He won't touch the yolk. Scrambled, different story, he'll eat the whole thing, but if he can separate them he only eats the white.
I can think of a dozen things to do with egg yolks, but they all require starting with uncooked yolks (custard, etc).
Is there any way to get something resembling a hard-boiled egg white, AFTER separating the white from the yolk?
Alternatively, can you come up with any uses for a bunch of hard boiled yolks? He'll go through a dozen a week if I let him.
