Oh Lord, no. What a horrible show. My husband I laughed our way through the first five - especially the cut aways where they show the crew painting the six pack on Poldark's chest. Unless you are 24 and still read romance novels, no way. Do Morse, Wallender, Bletchley Circle,Prime Suspect, endeavour, Inspector Lewis, the 1982 Granada production of Brideshead Revisited, the Tunnel, silk, Yes Minister, Yes Prime Minister. Since you liked Happy Valley, check out Last Tango in Halifax on Netflix. I really enjoyed it (it also has Sarah Lancashire).
