Kind of ok. Not great, but if you don't have a specific rule, then I don't think you can hold it against him. When my DD (5) uses occasionally yucky words (poopy!! Butt!!) I just ask her to always use kind words. The words aren't bad, but we need to make sure we use them nice, and not mean.

Yes, our boy 3rd grade neighbor says this and I HATE it. I tell my girls it's bad and they shouldn't say it. Darn is acceptable.
