The people in the photo watching as the Muslim woman disrobed don't look too fearful or afraid.

I am Christian and I would've been humiliated if I had been forced to disrobe on the beach. If the police were that concerned, why didn't they escort her off the beach?

If that's what the woman was wearing in Nice, I don't see any problem and think the police are overreacting. I base my opinion solely on what I see in the photo.

As a product of Catholic schools decades ago, I like the photo of nuns frolicking on the beach. A more tender time and photo versus the woman in Nice. She must have been terrified and violated to remove her clothes (if that's what happened) in front of males and other onlookers. They could've escorted her off the beach, fair or not, if necessary but making her strip in public is reprehensible. Would that have been okay demanding a nun in full habit remove her clothing in public?
