This is what we do. It's not much cheaper. We do it because TiVo is way more awesome, not to save money's.

Anonymous wrote:I think there is legislation in the works to allow people to purchase their own equipment, but for now you are tied to using their equipment and paying rent for it. The only exception is if you want the most basic channel package you don't need a set top box.
