Ugh NOT. Someone is here to bash, likely got thrown out. I know from my D's boyfriend who was an excellent student this is not an easy school to make it in. Small, yes. Competitive very much so.
New London is not much more than a tiny town but there are many big city options not so far away plus a convenient ferry which is how my D visited him.

Fighting for survival? Because of the location? It's gorgeous and near the beach and cute coastal cities. Two hours from Boston and two hours from NYC. The campus is extrodinarily beautiful, with an 800 acre arboretum. I'm sure there are things you could find to criticize the school but I don't tho k location is one of them.
