Clinton is divisive, and I wish the Ds could have gone with someone else. Trump isn't exactly divisive, he is equal opportunity insulitng and offensive, attacking his "own" party more often than the Ds.

Clinton does have a history of bipartisanship, collegiality. Possibly she'll be able to bring some of that back to DC and politics. Trump really has no history of playing well wiith others, so there's no reason to think he would start now.

If she's divisive with the voters, how can she be bipartisan with Congress?

If you don't think Trump is divisive, you must be on drugs. Attacking Republicans does not make him less divisive. It means he's divisive even among his own ranks.

I would argue that the last 7 1/2 and whatever Clinton manages to pull out are all right of center. The most controversial think Obama was able to implement was Bob Dole and Mitt Romney's healthcare plan.
