In fact, @44yrs. old your chances of conceiving a child naturally, carrying it to term fully then delivering a healthy baby are usually nil.

But celebrities have full access to the best of any and everything that modern life has to offer.

Well, all of the 40 year olds on DCUM look 30, so it shouldn't be an issue.

Not in DC. I had my first at 31 and seem to be several years younger than many of her friends' mothers.

I am 43 and pregnant with my 3 child. No one had said anything to me about my age . I don't tell them my age, It is your life, don't tell your age do not ask for opinions.

In DC? No. I was 42 when I delivered and 3 months pp everyone asks me if I'll have another.

You would have to be crazy old looking in order for me to give a second glance - which has happened once or twice in the DC area.

I'd say 1/2 my friends have had a baby in the last year I'm 41. No one will bat an eye.

Why do you care? It is none of their damn business. Stop relying on other people for approval of your life choices.

I'm 40 and pregnant with our first. Despite currently being in an area where people have children young, I'm hardy finding myself alone and have not received one weird look.

In areas like DC, women having children older is becoming very common. In some major cities it's like 25% or more AMA.

Live Your life for you - don't worry about what everyone else is doing or thinking.

Depends on where you live. Where I am, plenty of women are pregnant in their late 30's. Nobody would blink an eye at 40. However, don't get bent out of shape if somebody mistakes you for the grandma or nanny after the baby is born. I know better but not everyone does.

Will people give me strange looks or talk about me behind my back that I'm too old to be pregnant?
