Coming up with your own curriculum is tough and there are benefits to having a 3rd party keep you accountable.

I agree that most of this is useless without parental involvement. But some parents want to be involved who just need some help.

Your family might not need it, but other families do. Let them do them, and let you do you.

Just what a 1st grader needs...more class time. You'd be better off taking kid to the park or library.

Just what a 1st grader needs...more class time. You'd be better off taking kid to the park or library.

We tried for few months when my kid was in 1st grade, nothing special. They do 2 hour class which includes an hour of math and hour of English. English teacher was good but I heard she left and the math teacher was ok. Nothing innovative and not worth it in my opinion

Just heard of this enrichment program. Can anyone share their experiences? We have done Kumon but did not like it. Looking for other options. Thanks.
