Strawberry. I can't handle grape anything except actual grapes or wine.

Grape for PB&J but Strawberry for literally everything else.

Oh, most definitely strawberry! And preferably the low sugar kind.

I remember seeing kids in elementary school with grape jelly on their pb and j sandwiches, but they were never the kind of kids that were in the better reading groups, iykwim.

You might want to push back a little on having strawberry for the kids. You do want them to get off to a good start, don't you?

Red fruits all the way! Strawberry, cherry, and raspberry jam are all superior to grape. Grape does have it's place on a PBJ as an occasional alternative. Here's something truly horrifying: my husband's family supports putting grape jelly on omelets.

Its not that simple....if I was eating the actual fruit I prefer grape, I also think grapes last longer so buy them more.
Grape yogurt though? not so much.
So it depends what food it is.
