I have had consistently good experiences with PreFlight parking:

Started using them after having to wait way too long for a BWI shuttle one morning.

If your return flight is scheduled to land later in the evening, I would not park in BWI long term. If your flight ends up being delayed past their full service hours it can be a long wait and will introduce you to the worst of the worst shuttle drivers.

Park at one of the offsite companies, they appreciate your business.

I never had an issue at long-term parking.

Happy for you, my point was when you do it is a nightmare. Government doesn't always operate in the most efficient manor.

On two separate occasions we got flat tires in the long term lots
It was a nightmare
I would suggest just taking a cab, you have to pay for parking anyway. Otherwise ask a friend to take you
Trust me. Not a good place to get a flat tire.
We assumed after the second time that it was possibly on purpose.

We use FastPark or The Parking Spot. Shuttles come quickly, they pick you up right at your car and drop you off right back at your car, help with bags, and give you free water bottles on your way out. Look for coupons online or through AAA.

Np. Is there a shuttle bus to the terminals or only the rail line?

Yup.

I always just park in the daily garage for $10/day. There seem to be more shuttles that go to and from the daily garage than long-term A or B. For $1/day more, I prefer a covered garage to an open air lot. The lighting is better and I've heard of some car break-ins from the long-term lot.

we parked at a hotel and they couldn't figure out how to charge us so it ended up being free. we were expecting to pay $5/day.

the shuttle took us there immediately and return was about 30 minutes wait.

Don't do offsite. Do the BWI long term parking, they have lot A and lot B, $8/day Shuttle comes often. However, we always park in Lot A, ND on our way back from destination, we always see lot better shuttles come more often than lot A. I don't think that's how they plan it since it's supposed to be the same, just our luck.

Some off site parking is cheaper...no real difference in service.

We are flying out of there Monday, and will leave our car there for 10 days. What's the easiest way to park long-term? Easy to get to airport quickly, etc. Doesn't necessarily have to be the cheapest. Thanks.
