OP here. Umm? Where did you get all that information? We have a court ordered visitation schedule that includes MUCH more than a week per summer, and I'm obligated to provide the child during the court ordered times. I communicate plenty, including the child's favorite foods (which dad ignores because of his own limited diet), bedtimes, etc. all of it is ignored because ex thinks I'm a terrible parent. He's wrong, but I'm still annoyed at how difficult the transitions are.
It was a vent. My kid will go back to eating normally in a few days. It just takes time.
