Midday no. But he still calls me and chats with me on his drive home which I think is cute since he's just coming here anyway and could tell me then. That's just our chit chat time.

Yeah, we talk everyday multiple times a day but not often on the phone 90% of the time it's via fb messenger.

We used to, when we were young and in love. 20 years later, not so much...

Nope, no phone calls for us. We text on and off throughout the day though, mostly about stupid crap but also to get any coordination done that we need to do.

My DH likes this habit too, but I'm all "Dude, I have so much work and so little time before I have to retrieve the kiddos!" Now it's once in a while. He always starts with "I just wanted to hear your voice," which is very sweet.

Nope, no midday call. We'd talk about what? Not necessary for us.

I wish. DH works in a lab with no cell phones and is unreachable until he gets into his car at the end of the day.

Talk to each other during the day? Of course.

It doesn't happen every day, but roughly three times a week. But I think of him everyday midday and miss him, and want to coordinate on little details for the evening or rest of the week.

But mostly I just love hearing his voice.

Is this ridiculous? He likes the calls when schedule allows, but I don't notice this in other couples habits, at least that I can tell. is this something that other couples do?
