In the last few presidential cycles, approximately 55-60% of eligible citizens have voted. Donald Trump is going to win fewer than half of them. So, **maybe** 25% of the country will vote for him. Let's not overestimate or overdramatize the amount of support he has.

And, yes, I basically think he's punking us at this point.


Using your formula, then only about 33% of the country will vote for Hillary. (Lies, dammed lies, and statistics!)

Find a nominee who can articulate that then.


If you know that, why doesn't it matter to you? Or are you pleased only lies are getting out there?

There are no hidden Trump voters, just as there aren't any hidden Clinton voters. Yes, the Trump supporters at his rallies seem angry and confused about the issues, but there are many more Republicans who do not identify with Trump.
