I buy my organic bulk flour at Costco.

To the person suggesting Amish, they just sell repackaged flour with no guarantee from where it is sourced.

Restaurant Depot in Baltimore. It has been opened to the public since covid times.

I buy the 25lb bag of King Arthur at Costco. It’s pretty cheap and the quality is decent.

Sorry to go off on a tangent, OP -- but I have very recently started baking bread too ... how are you storing it?

Restaurant depot (don't know if they still do guest passes)
Restaurant Store
Baker's Authority
Central milling

But for one loaf a week - you don't really need flour in bulk

Costco.
Or a local flour mill. Google it

They have a few different kinds of flour but I get both the organic whole wheat pastry and organic whole wheat bread flours.

I would also recommend against ordering flour on amazon. Not to be trusted.

We do mill our own actually. It's far cheaper and healthier. I have over 200lbs of various wheat stored in our wine cellar.

Wouldn't buy anything that you ingest or put on your body from amazon. It's full of counterfeit products and they have poor quality, temperature control standards.

I would try Glut co-op in Mt Ranier. MOM's Organic Market sells big bags of nice sprouted flour, which I love to bake with, but it's not the cheapest.
