+1 on the Frost AAP English teachers.

The AAP teamed classes are English, Science, and History/Civics. It looks like the social studies team is new since my child was there, but the English and science teachers are the same. The 7th grade science teacher is known for being disorganized. My kid loved the English teachers.

Honors is separate for those 3 subjects but all levels are mixed for electives and PE. Math is different and is based on 6th grade SOL and IAAT. A fair number of AAP kids take Math 7 Honors vs Algebra 1 Honors in 7th. There may or may not also be an Algebra 2 class for 8th graders. There was my child's 8th grade year.

AAP is separate from Honors.

There is no objective response to the homework or teacher question, at Frost or anywhere else. DC seemed to get most homework done during Falcon Focus (8th period), but other kids' experiences may be different. Some of DC's most beloved teachers were other people nightmares. It depends on the kid.

If your child went to Frost recently, AAP or Honors, would love to know what your thoughts are about teachers, work load, etc. Would love to know who the non/little homework AAP teachers are

Also, are AAP classes separate from Honors, or do they mix the two?

Thank you!
