Harry Potter is at Universal, not Disney. I think Universal would be more fun for adults than Disney.

If I were to spend that kind of money on vacation, I'd want to go somewhere else. We went recent with our kids and had fun, but for the 2 of us alone, no way.

Dinner at California Grille and fireworks is terrific

There's many adults who love Disney and go without kids. Lots of couples even get married there. I know someone who is 50, and she goes every year with her mother (70+), to a costume event. Some people just love Disney whatever age they are.

Epcot and Animal Kingdom are great to walk through, with out without kids. Lots of alcohol in Epcot at the countries! The Magic Kingdom would interest me less, but maybe go late night to see fireworks and ride Space Mountain a couple of times.

Goodness, I think there is a lot for adults. Either land or world.

If the world, I'd stay in a king bed room in boardwalk or yacht club, or poly I guess. Go in late, stay late, probably spend more time in Epcot than if i was going with kids. A couple resort days and prob go to Disney springs, which I wouldn't do with kids.

At the land, I'd stay in a nice offsite close hotel, or rent points at the dvc hotel. I like the land a lot, and California adventure is alright, but without kids I'd probably only spend an evening there, not a whole day.

Ive seen people do it but like a PP said, if I had the money to do it right I would rather go somewhere else.....like Hawaii or Europe

Last time I was at Disney with my nieces and nephew, I saw so many young and old couples without kids. I'm going to be one of those.
Disney is also adult friendly too!

There's a lot to do without kids. Basically you would just do the same stuff. You don't need kids there to do that. And some things would be easier, like staying up late for fireworks and being flexible.

Yes, do it, it's fun.

We did it before kids and its a lot of fun. Go in the fall or spring when its less crowded. We don't find disney very expensive but it depends on how you do it.

I know people do this, but if I had that much money to spend, I'd go somewhere else. It's not a cheap vacation. But it is an easy/comfortable one, so that is good.

It's better without kids!!! Go, enjoy, have fun!

Has anyone done this? I never went as a kid and would love go with DH (we don't have kids yet) but I'm not sure how much there is to do without kids.
