The only alternative to cotton used to be polyester that didn't breathe. Now there are better synthetic fabrics that breathe and wick away moisture--which cotton doesn't do.

Which style ex officio do you use?

Google "Cotton is Rotten" and you'll find why cotton is not a good option.

I love my 100% cotton undies for day-to-day use, but no way do I use them when I am working out.

I actually work out in bikini bottoms. I sweat too much down there and start to chafe.

I have some Adidas thongs. I got them at Sports Authority, not sure if they are sold elsewhere. So far they are better than other brands I've tried.

I like Victoria's Secret "yoga" underwear. Plain, not cotton, no panty lines, and they stay put.

NOT cotton. It doesn't wick. Any sweating or other moisture is just "yuck."

I love my Moving Comfort underwear, but they've changed the cut. I like the "old" better than the "new."

My DH has Ex Officio and really likes that.

I pretty much only wear cotton Victoria's Secret underwear all the time. I would say cotton and not a song is probably the way to go .

For those of you who run, bike, dance, lift, etc... what underwear do you wear for working out? I shower and wash my clothes regularly, but I feel I... start to smell halfway into a serious workout. What underwear do you wear helps keep you feeling/smelling fresh? Washes well?

[for those of you who don't wear underwear while exercising, that's great but this post is not for you]
