Haha he's not my boss! He started doing it a year ago.
My point is, when you respect someone you don't talk to them that way. A person might not respect the person a boss is, but respects the position. So they refrain from being disrespectful and saying things like that to them.
If your DH is saying that to you it means he no longer respects you. In my opinion, once the respect is gone, the relationship is doomed

We do and we have been married for 31 years. We blow off steam and we know that we have an underlying respect for each other and always
have each other's back. Five minutes later we've both moved on.

In chatting while we were dating, it came out that (Future) DH had never seen the movie Clueless. So one night we watched it together. Since then, any time he's frustrated with me, he'll do the "MMMMMMM! Woman!" thing Murray said to Dionne when they were in the car and he got frustrated with her map-reading skills.
