Walmart batteries are surprising good. And reasonably priced.

Autozone came over to my car, jumped the battery. And then I drove it to autozone and they installed it in the parking lot. Wouldn't even take a $20 tip either and I tried hard to give it to the guy.

How old is the battery? I think (and I could be wrong) batteries last between 5 and 7 years now a days.

Ugh, terrible way to waste money OP. You don't have anyone to help you to get a battery or give you a jump?

If your car worked yesterday and if you are certain it's the battery, jump will work.

Costco batteries are reasonably priced and highly regarded for good reason. Anyone should be able to change the average battery with a socket wrench in about ten minutes, although some European cars are a bit more of a PITA.

Autozone will change a battery.

If a jump doesn't work, then it's probably more than the battery. Sometimes, you need to let it charge for 5 or 10 minutes before starting.

If you do get the car going, you can pretty much take it anywhere for a quick battery change, including your nearest gas station. I like NTB for tires and batteries. They're very nice, but like all of the auto repair places, don't fall for the upsell.

Get car jump started and drive it to the dealer.

AAA.

And if you don't have it, you can sign up and request service at the same time. There is no waiting period.

I used AAA for that, and it was easy and not terribly expensive.

Call the number for your car maker that is in the manual the car came with, that may help.

My battery just died. Car is still under warranty but I don't want to have to tow it to the dealer. Any recommendations for one of those services where they come to you to replace the battery?
