I’m sorry that you’re struggling right now. Honestly, I don’t have much to say as to why your little girl could be crying. But I think you might find this information (http://bit.ly/1YQi3oZ) useful. My prayers are with you and your baby.

Read Wonder Weeks. Sounds like you are in Leap 2. Crankiness, sleep and eating patterns change. Or.. Some babies cry. My first did almost all the time. Baby wear solves a lot if that.

Op here. She has been very hungry, so it's possible.

Colic usually starts right in the 3rd week. I'd see if this is a growth spurt. It can all change in a week. Baby wear at home as much as you can.

Could be colic. Or reflux. Does she spit up or cry while/after feeding? Or she is just a normal baby. Invest in a good carrier

Subject: Is this colic?
My one month old slept through the first month - she had a witching hour(s) around bedtime but for the most part slept all day and did well at night. Right at four weeks, she started being more alert and f ussy during the day and now yesterday and today, she cries all the time during the day unless she is being nursed or held. And even when being held, she has to be rocked or walked. The only person that can sit still and hold her is me (she won't let DH sit still, he has to walk or rock her). I just put her down about 5 minutes ago and she's already starting to stir. The house is quiet - my older child is napping right now. In addition, she has a lot of gas and poops a lot (but nice yellow poops, no mucous, no green). Is this colic? Does this warrant a change in my diet? I eliminated dairy with DS1 because of green mucous poops, we never had the constant crying/need to be held issue. Help! Holding the baby is not sustainable when we also have a 3 1/2 year old and my DH is heading back to work tomorrow (older child is in daycare so during the week will not be awful but still...).
