I knew HRC would pick a VP with Ivy League credentials and knew he or she would have to be Harvard or Yale law.

This is because she is just like the rest of you pompous liberal a**holes who live in DC.

Your values are all confused just like Hillary's.

Hillary thinks laws are for little people and that it is okay for her and Huma and Cheryl and all her cronies to cash in on public sector service. Federal salaries are for the little people.

She also seems to be a genuinely happy person.

And somehow she's being painted as a traditional woman? Hell, as a man, sign me up for that.

Are you confusing Melania and Ivanka?

Candidates in the title and their spouses in the op.

Tim kaine's wife is P & HLS

Hrc's spouse is YLS, Rhodes scholar

The fact is dems expect their spouses to be highly educated as well.

It's way more egalitarian than what you see with r's

Do you pay by the letter?

OK if you want to play this game. Tim Kaine got his BA from University of Missouri. Mike Pence graduated from Hanover college. I don't see a big difference there. Wellesley college is not bad but it's not Wharton. Trump has no time to waste in graduate school when he has business ambition to change the skyline of Manhattan. I am sure Bill Gates can easily get a PhD in MIT but he dropped out of Harvard.

Another problem we have in politics - way too many lawyers.

I think OP is saying that they peaked at 18 and therefore believe that the college you attend must determine your destiny forever. I guess you have to hold onto that superiority when you have nothing else.

ivy league schools are not going to be possible for a lot of people. not due to lack of intelligence.
