They definitely continued to take shots at both sides. Off the top of my head, he was brutal to Obama's Secretary of HHS, Kathleen Sebelius.

Agree. Colbert is very good but lil bit more theatrical and subtle, not as brutal in his take down. Stewart is incisive and shuts the door on any logical rebuttal, leaving the conservative nuts mad but they are rendered defenseless leaving them with anger and hate.


Because Colbert is playing a satirical character the whole time. People start to forget that it's not really him. It's much harder to do though.
