I wore the sleeveless dress I wore to the hospital. It wasn't a maternity dress but super loose and comfy. I hated sitting around in a hospital gown like I was 'sick'.

Actually now that I'm thinking about it, I might bring a short, silk-like robe to wear. That would have been perfect. Maybe something with a pattern so my nipples aren't obvious in pictures or for visitors. Hmm, I'm going to look into that.

I wore the gown. Easy access for breast-feeding, could change as needed when I got the sweats, no laundry to bring home.

I brought comfy clothes to wear, but ended up just wearing the hospital gown for my whole stay. I was really out of it after my C-section, and just wanted to make things as easy as possible.

I'm bringing my favorite soft Target Pjs and plan on hanging out in those all day. Leaving the hospital wearing a comfortable T shirt maternity dress I love.

I wore a bathrobe. I don't think I could have gotten pants on myself, I didn't have use of my legs for a little while. I was also completely incontinent so wanted something darkly colored that I didn't care about ruining. It was perfect for breastfeeding and also covering up quickly when in laws unexpectedly showed up at the door.

I wore my own clothes because I found the hospital gown horribly scratchy and uncomfortable. A lot of people will say just wear the hospital gown because your clothes will likely get bloody and you will want something that is easy for bf if you are going that route. No harm in bringing a few options for yourself and then you can decide how you feel at the time.
