All the large families I know have great au pairs or nannies, because at some point the grandparents just can't deal, if they're even in the picture to begin with.

The one mom I know in this situation has a mostly stay at home dad backing her up.

I'd be willing to bet to bet that most men with 4 or more kids in a senior position in a company have a sah wife.

Maybe it's a non-profit that helps kids. Maybe she was pregnant or is trying to adopt. Maybe a thousand things. Jeff has said repeatedly that people who aren't parents are welcome here.

Well I have asked three very senior women I work with how the do it. One has a live in nanny with a husband who has very regular hours, one has a stay at home husband and the other had grandma living with them.

I am married with one kid. We struggle to keep it together!

Yes, and I've found it true for many white families as well. I will be taking to a mom who is saying how hard it is since she doesn't hire help-- come to find out her retired parents spend several hours each day helping out with shuttling kids to activities, waiting for delivery/repair people, etc

Why don't you ask either of them how they do it? I think some women find motherhood easy and are naturally good at it. I am a mother of 3 and wouldn't put myself in that category. I get stressed out managing it all while several of my friends seem to thrive with all the chaos and juggling. Why the judgment, OP because it sounds like you are making one. Women with 4 kids shouldn't work? Women with 4 kids cannot be effective managers or directors? Women can't do it all? Should I also assume that because you are single and have no kids that you probably have way to much time on your hands and spend a lot of it poking your nose in other people's business?
