We use Babyganics sticks. You still need to rub it in. And yes, my kids still get color even with sun screen..

The up and up stick at target is actually good- goes on smooth and is highly rated on consumer reports

We like to Neutrogena sticks. Our pediatrician says to swipe 3 times to get the same effect as lotion sunscreen.

My kids do really well with old fashioned zinc oxide, especially in fun colors. I do that on nose and cheeks, plus a good hat. Cuts down the sunscreen battle significantly.

We like it too, but we go through it so quickly and it's expensive!

The stick sunscreen still needs rubbing - it is really hard to cover everything with the small blunt surface area.

The sprays are bad for the face - too much to breathe in.

Have you had her rub in cream herself?

Also, SOME color is pretty unavoidable in the summer. My son does not have sensory issues and sometimes complains about sunscreen - if it doesn't use it, he doesn't play outside for more than a few minutes between 10 and 2.

The only kind of sunscreen our 6 yr old will tolerate on her face is the stick form. We found the Coppertone products to be the right consistency for her comfort level, but she's getting some color despite frequent reapplication. Anyone have any recommendations? We have found that that she won't tolerate it if it's at all visible on the skin.
