There isn't racial tension between AAs and Caucasians , except of course if there's something you're not telling us . I didn't know that fighting systemic racism and police brutality amounted to racial tension . Talk about being dense

I would bet that it was another white person posting using the term "white trash". Everything is not white vs black, PP.l
No way of knowing if the person who used it was white or black. It's a bigoted term, either way.

Why does it matter? Jail is Jail. He is in the same cell whether his mom is a 15 minutes car ride away or a 5 hour flight away. Maybe she really wants to keep an eye on Todd.
