I am in my early 50's. I love how I don't have to put up with crap from anyone anymore and I can recognize BS almost immediately. I run better now than I did in my 20's. In my 20's I just wanted to run some distance and then be done. Now I am patient and can run for miles and miles. I don't look for confirmation from others. That use to be something I obsessed over when I was in 20's and 30's. I really don't care what anyone thinks about me now. I dress how I like and the confidence from that is palatable. I have a great job, money(yeah!) and am doing very well. I feel in my prime now even more than in my 40's. If I want to sleep with a guy on the first date, I do. I don't care if they think I am a slut, guess what you won't get to sleep with me again. I am not trying to meet the parents and I am not trying to play the virgin. I don't need a man to buy me a house ( I have several), or a car or anything else. I love this age!!!!

I feel I'm in my prime in my forties, mostly because I feel I'm in the drivers seat. I'm not nervously hoping I get married before my biological clock stops ticking. I've accomplished most of what I wanted to in life. With men, I'm not afraid of them anymore. I know they might not like me and it's okay because someone else will. I'm more worried about whether I like them. I know how to turn any bedroom experience into a happy event. I don't need a man's money, or his house, or his last name. So I guess that all boils down to more confident combined with don't give much of a shit what guys think

I definitely am in my prime. It's mostly confidence that came with age and avoiding toxic men. However, I've also finally learned how to dress for my body. And, the acne that plagued me for 32 years vanished alongside my periods. Lastly, I'm mixed-race AA. Melanin helps the skin age well. Highly textured hair generally looks thicker than straight hair.

I'm technically not single and don't like younger men anyway, but yes, there is a lot of attention from men in their 30s. They are shocked, but don't care when they learn my age.

Washed up? No way. But, look at guys in their 40's and 50's as you want to be seen. Whoever says you ladies are washed up needs their head examined. As far as I'm concerned, you're in your prime.

The key is to be a fun, friendly interesting person. Confidence is sexy and is easier for us older ladies who no longer care so much what others think of us. Be young at heart and dont worry about your chronological age. Of course, at some point age is going to matter. But certainly not in your 40s and 50s!

Yeah, don't believe the boards. If you take care of yourself and look good and hold yourself with confidence, and who can't do that at 50, the guys in their 30's start to take notice. Wild thing is once you tell them how old you are, they don't care.
