I recommend 5 mornings a week for consistency. Noon pick up before lunch.

I sent my DS at 2.5 and he loved it. While I believe it is great for the little ones to mingle with peers, I also believe that the preschool readiness depends from child to child. You might want to look at this article at bit.ly/2abbwTO as you decide what is best for your son.

PP. Also, kids (at least mine) become a lot less pleasant to be around all day when they are 3! I loooove 18 months, but 3? I need a break!

Start him 2-3 mornings each week. It's a very good time to learn how to play in a room full of peers.

My youngest is 2.25. He loves school. Has since he was about 2. He's been in daycare since he was an infant, but once he hit two, he started to really like it and look forward to going. I think 2.5 is a great age to start. I have an older son who is almost 4. He would have been bored at home with me between ages 2.5 and 3.5

My child will be 2.5 next summer. Should I put him in preschool for 2017-2018 or keep him home until he's 3.5?
