My son just started kindergarten at CMIT Elementary and the aftercare, so far, has definitely allowed time for play. I picked my son up on Tuesday, and he asked to stay longer because he was playing in the gym. From what I'm told they will have play time everyday. Either in the gym or outside.

Thanks! We recently moved from Laurel so I'm familiar with both of those places. Didn't realize they did after care.

That's CMIT North.

The Laurel Kindercare near the hospital does aftercare for local schools including CMIT. They accept up to 12 years of age.
The Goddard School, also near the hospital (actually on the same side street as Laurel Kindercare) also does aftercare for local schools. They says "school age" but do not define an age limit.

Are you talking about CMIT north or south?

Hi. Does anyone have recommendations for after-care programs for CMIT? The enrichment program that is located at the school seems like and extension of school (more quiet time and lessons). I was hoping my child could go somewhere and work on homework and then have a little free time/activity before pickup time. Also, if you have experience with the onsite enrichment program, please share your thoughts. Thanks.
