Clinton v. Trump will make any right-minded voter miss the embarrassment of riches we had with Obama v. Romney. Makes me nostalgic for 2012. What do we get in 2020, Sid Blumenthal v. Bill O'Reilly?

Right? Trump even makes GWB look like a genius, and that's really saying something.

Is he still getting secret service protection?

I guess Sanders felt compelled to endorse her but basically he has the reservations about her that he has always had. Sanders comes across as another of those voting for Hillary not because he supports her but because he opposes Trump.

Well, yeah. Why would you expect otherwise? They don't see eye to eye on much and he very clearly (and rightly IMO) does not agree with the Clinton political brand.

This is why many of us supported Sanders. They are very different types of democrats.

It wouldn't be the same as Clinton and Obama as they are basically very similar. So of course she could get behind Obama. How can you get 100% behind someone that you don't truly see fit to be president? Half-heartedly.

Beware the Trumpeters trying to create a conflict among Democrats. They just want to distract from their own Trumpster Fire of a candidate.

I would not have expected anything more from Sanders. But it's still important that he provided the endorsement. I suspect that he deeply does not like her, and this endorsement was very difficult for him to give since he's fundamentally not a politician at heart. Honestly, the latter is the main reason I thought he could not be a good POTUS, but I understand that other people disagree.

In the end, I think he's made his stamp on the party's platform and revived interest in progressive policy...both of which are good things. I'd be surprised if he comes out in full force campaigning for her, though.

At least he said her name. That's more than Trump got from some his of his "endorsements."
