Love doesn't SOLVE everything, but it certainly helps. Hate in response to hate only results in more hate (as the video states, for those who actually watch it).
Look at what has happened over the past week. Two african american men are killed by police in separate incidences, and initially there was much sympathy and attention paid to the plight of AA's being unjustly profiled. Then, some asshat retaliates by killing five police officers in Dallas, and the result was just more anger and angst. It doesn't solve anything.
