People compare Vienna to Mclean as if the schools are similar, but Mclean schools are just better run than Vienna schools.
I hope you are basing this conclusion on something other than summer assignments in MS! That doesn't really seem like a solid basis for measuring the teaching or administration of the Vienna schools. From what I have observed, Thoreau is a very positive place.
