Wow! Had no idea it was so expensive. How often is this done? Any chance you can learn how to do this?

Paid $65 at Canine Design in Kensington for small dog. They do an excellent job and are very flexible.

I used to pay less than that for a giant dog at an independent groomer (Purrfect Grrooming in NoVa). It took them a good 3-4 hours. $150 sounds excessive for s Shih tzu

Don't go to pet smart. Their groomer turnover is second to none and they are minimally trained at best. Find a small business where the groomers are on staff for years, have full training and experience under their belts, and get to know your dog. Still should be around $80.

Takes 75 minutes and they come when I'm not even home. Worth it? Petsmart is $80 and it takes 4 hours
