If he's uncomfortable try exifficio underwear. I'm a woman and love them. Maybe the guys will find them crazy comfortable too. They're a very light weight mesh type fabric.

DS is a nudist. Commando whenever I let him. It's his default. He wears swim trunks to camp everyday, so no undies required. It's comfortable for him now, though I imagine it'll grow (he he) less comfortable for him over time.

Is his unit tiny? That's the only way I can imagine it would work.

All sorts of things are going on down there during the day that men can't necessarily control. Best to wear underwear. As Elaine Benes said, "I don't know how you guys walk around with those things."

No, my husband nor son do this. Never knew my dad or brothers to either.

I do often wonder if my son would be more comfortable without his boxer briefs, though. (He's 5 and constantly adjusting himself.)

DH has started doing this the last couple summers when he wears shorts. I think it's kind of gross, but we agreed to respect public opinion. Do your DHs (or DSs) do this? He says it's a guy thing but I never heard my father or brothers talk about it.
