I disagree. Home tests rarely give false positives. There's nothing wrong with testing at home, which is what you would do for a non-IVF pregnancy. If it makes you feel better then go for it!

8dp6dt. Probably could have gotten it sooner, but didn't want to be depressed and still have to take all the drugs. This was the day before the beta.

I waited for beta and then tested. Silly, but I wanted to see that +!

+1. You need to test out the trigger if you want to test early. Tests everyday to see the line disappear, and then look to see if you get a new line again.

Everybody varies in how quickly they metabolize the HCG, but mine was always gone by the day of transfer.

Wait 8 days past a 5dt for a definite yes or no.

Only got a BFP once in four cycles. I always tested about three days before the beta, and not the late SG beta dates, the early CFA ones. Other than the one cycle I got pregnant (and then lost it) I always ended up getting my period before the blood test. (yes, even with progesterone)

I didn't test until I went in for my first beta.

i tested out my trigger. I did a 3dt of two embryos. Trigger was gone by 3dp3dt so it was very clearly a bfp at 7dp3dt. first beta was 10dp3dt and was 102.

I'd wait 7-8dpt to make sure the trigger shot is out of your system.

How soon did you get BFP after your transfer?
