NP here. I'm sorry that you grew up in such a dysfunctional family that even the thought of an adult child helping out their senior father is unusual. Have you sought therapy to help you adapt and become more normal?

It sounds like he has been looking but with no luck. Can't you read? Is OP constitutionally prohibited from helping her dad? Geez, what a loony you are, PP.

+1 You are in the non-snark forum.

I'm a builder/general contractor but not local to your area. I have often thought a semi-retiree would be a good fit for my company. Someone to get parts, keep an eye on the job, be there for deliveries. Basically, entry level type position but likely perfect for retiree. Gets them out of the house, social, etc.

I suspect other builders/remodelers might think the same way. Food for thought.

I am looking for a job for my dad. Is there any site I can look into jobs for Senior citizens. He is looking for store jobs like Michael's, Safeway or Home Depot...less stress job.

Even though they say no age discrimination, he is not able to find any. Please recommend options or sites we can look into. Thanks
