1312/ 1344: did you tell them you were 7 weeks PP? This concerns me even more. Please contact both your opthomologist and OB on Monday morning.

OP, did they do a full neuro check? It would involve things like moving your eyes but also shrugging your shoulders, testing your reflexes, etc?

I posted here a couple of years ago w/weird eye symptoms. My symptoms were severe enough that the ER took me pretty seriously (kept me 2 days for endless MRIs) but it took a a while to find a specialist who could actually figure out what was going on (cranial nerve palsy.) If you continue to have issues, get on the phone w/Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins. They are awesome; hard to get into but if you sound hysterical enough (as I did) it seems to help. Good luck!

Thanks! I looked that up as well. Doctors at the ER didn't mention anything. I just hope I will feel better tomorrow. Have a 7-week old to take care of... Scared

I found some reports of blurred vision as a side effect of Diflucan. I am guessing it is pretty uncommon, but that wouldn't mean that couldn't be the cause for you.

Just got back from Sibley. They said to see my eye doctor on Tuesday. Didn't seem to be concerned. But I am. They checked pressure, checked for scratches. Everything looked normal. My eyesight has decreased in the affected eye. This is so stressful

Call your ophthalmologist's emergency number. If you don't have one, go to the ER. Blurry vision is nothing to mess around with, unless you know it's from dry eyes.

Make sure it is an ER with an ophthalmologist on call. Georgetown and GW have one, not sure about others.

Seriously? What is the pharmacist going to do one the phone?

ER will check the eye for foreign bodies, injuries, as well as assess pressure, neurological problems, blood flow, etc. In the event it may be drug related, they may offer an antihistamine or other pharmacological or supportive care.

You think blurry vision is completely nothing to worry about?

Is it a steroid?

Steroids (like nose sprays) can cause cataracts to develop unexpectedly.

What are they going to do at the ER?

Diflucan or not, sudden occurrence of blurry vision is worth a trip to urgent care if not emerg. I wouldn't waste more time with the pharmacist - your vision actually needs to be assessed to make sure it is not something serious.

Took one yesterday and woke up with pon in my left eye. Now my vision is blurry and I can't drive.
