There's the various locations of Habitat for Humanity's ReStore shops. We also donate and shop at Wagging Tails, which is run by MCHS. They always have furniture in the front room.

I beg to differ, sorry. Don't bother, OP. I restore and refinish thrift store pieces for fun and sometimes resale and haven't found a quality piece of furniture from unique in years.

Thank you for recommending. I will check them out. I found a nice little thrift shop called Life4Animals in Gaithersburg and got a great wicker set the other day for a really good price. I know it is used, but looks brand new.

My kids and DH are traveling overseas, and I am having a stay-cation and free time to do or not do whatever I want. I love thrift shopping for cool old pictures, furniture, mirrors, etc, please recommend the best or good thrift shops in metro area. I am in MoCo but don't mind driving for fun. Thanks ahead!
